Is there a better time of year to throw a birthday bash?

Your kids birthday party should end at 8 p.m. For those who have to get up early for school the next day, Friday is always the best day. We estimate that a party for an 8-11-year-old should last between two and three hours. 2-5 pm is a good time to avoid mealtimes on a weekend trip.
