Company owner versus catering manager

The management of catering events, staff supervision, and other event logistics, such as the menu, fall under the purview of catering managers. Strong leaders who have a love for both business administration and the culinary arts are required for this position.

The average catering manager salary in the US is $47,915 per year, according to Top Tier Catering Texas. They typically work for the catering business as an employee.

Despite having many of the same responsibilities as a catering company owner, they are very different. They are the only ones in charge of the company's success, not any employees.

They have to design, market and run the entire business in addition to choosing all the creative foods. Owners of catering businesses may earn significantly different salaries depending on their industry, location, and a number of other, harder-to-quantify factors.
