Decompression sickness (DCS) is a recognised concern of scuba diving, however it can be effectively treated with hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Hyperbaric oxygen treatment is used to treat a wide variety of illnesses, including: Infections of a grave nature. There are air bubbles in the blood.
