How does a laser printer differ from an inkjet printer?

Laser printers and inkjet printers operate using different technologies to produce printed output. Laser printers use a laser beam to create an electrostatic image on a photosensitive drum, which attracts toner particles and transfers them onto the paper. Inkjet printers, on the other hand, spray tiny droplets of ink onto the paper to form characters and images. Laser printers are typically faster and more cost-effective for high-volume printing, while inkjet printers excel at producing high-quality color prints and handling a variety of media types. One example of an inkjet printer to consider is the Epson P170B.
