Why slow rolling is considered unethical
Permalink

Slow rolling is an unethical practice as it is against the rule of fun. Poker is a fun game, not a

competition, but involves money. So don't play it to defeat other players but to win smartly.

● Hurt the player with the hope to win, emotionally

● It Delays the game termination

● Lose the interest as the game is stretching forcefully

● Instead of being happy, players feel upset about losing pots

● Confuse the players about what is happening

There are many other reasons as well that make this practice unethical and it should be

avoided. It is the responsibility of the poker dealer to detect a slow roller and stop him from

doing it.
